Oxygen scavengers are composed of new-type organic oxidants, corrosion-inhibiting passivators, acid-base balancers, and other components. They can efficiently and rapidly remove dissolved oxygen from feedwater, passivate metal surfaces, and thereby achieve the goal of preventing metal corrosion. This product can reduce the residual dissolved oxygen content in feedwater to less than 15 μg/L, while ensuring that the equipment system operates under safer and more economical conditions.
The active ingredients in oxygen scavengers can react with copper, iron, and other metal oxides in the system, passivate the metals, and achieve an anti-corrosion effect. Moreover, their decomposition products are non-toxic and harmless at high temperatures, making them a new and efficient oxygen scavenger for boiler feedwater and anti-corrosion inhibitor.
The thermal decomposition products of this oxygen scavenger are mainly non-toxic hydrocarbons and nitrogen (N₂), and the concentration of the decomposition products is only at a trace level. In addition, the oxygen scavenger also plays a role in inhibiting corrosion and passivating metals, which can promote the formation of a dense iron tetroxide (Fe₃O₄) protective film on the metal surface. It provides reliable protection for the boiler system without affecting the heat transfer efficiency of the boiler system. At the same time, it can also peel off the corrosion products inside the boiler and pipelines, effectively preventing the formation of iron oxide scale in the boiler.

After deep deoxygenation, the value corresponding to the amount of steam saved per ton of deoxygenated water is:
0.022 tons × 150 yuan/ton = 3.3 yuan/ton
After deep deoxygenation, the chemical cost per ton of feedwater is:
0.06 kg/ton × 23.5 yuan/kg = 1.41 yuan/ton
That is, the cost saved per ton of feedwater is:
3.3 yuan/ton - 1.41 yuan/ton = 1.89 yuan/ton
That is, the annual cost savings is:
1.89 yuan × 100 tons/hour × 24 hours/day × 300 days/year = 1.36 million yuan
