4. Turbidity
Turbidity is the degree to which suspended solids in water prevent light from passing through. Water suspensions typically consist of soil, sand, small organic and inorganic substances, plankton, microorganisms, and colloidal substances.
5. Ionic composition.
Inorganic salts, insoluble salts, or slightly soluble salts formed by the combination of anions and solar ions dissolved in water have a certain solubility at a certain temperature, and when water is continuously enriched in the RO system, they will form scale on the RO surface when their solubility exceeds the JI limit. The most common insoluble salts are CaCO3 and Caso4, while other possible compounds include CaF2 and Baso4. D. If anionic ions and solar ions may form insoluble or slightly soluble salts in water, their pretreatment should consider carbon deposition control measures to prevent the deposition of insoluble or slightly soluble salts and scale exceeding their solubility.
6 Alkalinity
Alkalinity is the content of alkaline substances in water that react with strong acids. Alkalinity mainly refers to the content of carbonates, carbonates, and hydroxide ions in water, which are divided into phenolic alkalinity and total alkalinity.
Different types of water sources correspond to different pre-treatment processes and different types of membrane components. For small-scale engineering projects without water quality analysis, the design can refer to the pre-treatment of existing engineering projects of the same type of water. However, for large-scale engineering projects, a complete surface water quality analysis is required.
